What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Clerk - Bilingual Required - Plant 2 position at Maples Industries, Inc.?
Supports daily operations at Plant 2 by maintaining accurate records of production across Tufting, Twisting, Heatset, and Printline by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions:
Record daily production metrics across Tufting, Twisting, Heatset, and Printline. Enter and verify data in AS400 and Excel. Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. Maintain organized digital and physical records for audits. Answers and directs all incoming calls. (Multi-line phone) Organizes and keeps office supplies stocked. Receives and directs visitors. Other duties as assigned by management.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Ability to operate multiple pieces of office equipment, including copier, fax machine, etc. Excellent organization and communication skills required. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). Strong data-entry accuracy and computer skills required. AS400 experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
The employee is frequently required to sit, operate a computer, and other office equipment. The employee must have the ability to communicate and exchange information accurately. The employee required to move inside the office and on the production floor to collect data as needed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include observing details at close range.
