What are the responsibilities and job description for the Freight Line Assembler - Inspect Dept position at Maples Industries, Inc.?
Stacks boxes to separate pallets by style, size and color as they come from Edge Inspect.
Essential Functions:
- Must be able to determine quantity of boxes per pallet by box size.
- Removes and stacks cases from Inspectors onto pallets into stacks identifying correct location by labels.
- Occasionally, using pallet jacks, moves stacked cases to appropriate locations.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Education and/or Experience:
- No prior experience or training.
- Ability to identify labels and read/write in English.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, bend, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- The employee environment is heated, but is exposed to heat and cold as influenced by seasonal temperature extremes.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually normal.
