What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Registered Dietitian position at Maple Woods Manor?
We are seeking a dedicated & compassionate Part Time Registered Dietitian (24 hours per week - in person) to join our interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, critical thinking and a proactive approach to promoting the nutritional wellbeing of our residents.
Responsibilities include:
- Complete new admission nutrition assessments and developing individualized care plans
- Conduct annual and significant change assessments to evaluate ongoing nutritional needs
- Document and address weight changes through timely and comprehensive clinical notes
- Perform accurate MDS coding and supporting care plan development with IDT
- Provide high risk nutrition charting
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy and dietary staff to ensure optimal resident outcomes
Wage:
- $27.85/hour - $35.85/hour
- Including MI $0.85/hour wage pass through until 09.30.26

Qualifications:
- Current Registered Dietitian credential
- Strong knowledge of long term care regulations & SOM compliance
- Excellent communication, documentation & problem solving skills
- Ability to lead and educate dietary teams to enhance quality of care
