What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cafe Worker position at Maple Street Bistro?
Looking for an outgoing, energetic, and hardworking individual to be a part of our fun team!
We are a local coffee shop and bakery that has a fast paced environment and a fun camaraderie feel. Our shop gets BUSY, however our team atmosphere is laid back with a FUN vibe and a few monthly perks here and there.
What you will be doing on the daily:
- Making coffee (full espresso bar)
- Making breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, wraps and salads in a FAST paced setting
- Taking customer food and drink orders using our point of sale system
- Running food and drink orders out to dine-in and to-go customers
- Taking food and drink orders at our drive-thru window
- Busing tables
- Communicating with teammates, baker, and manager
- Boxing up and bagging to-go orders, wholesale orders, and large pickup orders
- Washing dishes
- Stocking and refilling items as necessary
- Cleaning
- Taking out the trash
No experience required - will train the right person! But must have -
- A good and positive attitude
- HUSTLE
- The willingness to learn
- The ability to work well with everyone
- Be able to work independently
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
- Problem solving skills
- Availability to work 25 to 34 hours a week
- Available to work opening shifts (5:45 AM)
- Available to work closing shifts (4:00 PM)
- Available at least one weekend day
Barista and/or food experience a plus!
