Full-Time Direct Care Professional
Schedule: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Hours: Full-Time, 5 Days per Week
Requirements: Every Other Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Care Professional (DCP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality care and support to individuals in a residential setting while promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and assistance with activities of daily living.
- Encourage independence while ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of individuals served.
- Assist with personal care needs as required.
- Support participation in community activities, recreational programs, and social events.
- Monitor and document individual progress, behaviors, and daily activities.
- Follow individualized care plans and organizational policies.
- Maintain effective communication with team members, families, and supervisors.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in direct care, caregiving, healthcare, or human services is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to pass required background checks.
