Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pharmacist to join our independent compounding/retail pharmacy team. We are located in a wonderful community with amazing patient base. We currently provide non-sterile compounding, retail, and long term care services, as well as patient wellness clinical opportunities. Competitive pay and benefits and a desirable schedule. Our hours are weekdays 9-7, Saturdays 9-2 and closed on Sundays. It is a busy location with a variety of responsibilities each day. Great team and great atmosphere. Should be interested in compounding pharmacy with a desire to improve patient quality of life through education and knowledge of available options.
Responsibilities
- verify the accuracy and clinical appropriateness of all prescriptions.
- Counsel patients regarding medications, disease states, and lifestyle modifications.
- Administer immunizations.
- Counsel patients with regard to health and wellness.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and drug regulation standards.
- Ability to perform patient assessments effectively while practicing as a pharmacist in fast-paced clinical settings.
