Job Summary

Duties
- Assist in implementing daily lesson plans that promote early childhood development and classroom engagement
- Support children with their activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, storytime, and learning exercises
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children by supervising their activities closely and maintaining a clean, organized classroom environment
- Help with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care needs for infants and toddlers
- Support behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions among children
- Collaborate with lead teachers to monitor developmental milestones and communicate observations to parents or guardians
- Maintain accurate attendance records and assist with classroom setup and cleanup to ensure a welcoming space for all children
Requirements
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage positively with children and their families
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods; physical stamina to support active play and caregiving tasks
- Passion for working with children and commitment to creating an inclusive, nurturing atmosphere
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a caring environment
