Job Description
Rapidly growing manufacturing company is looking for a full-time machine operator to handle all mechanical aspects of production.
We are a private label assembly facility specializing in personal care products.
Responsibilities:
- Operate packaging machinery in a safe manner to assure products are within quality standards and set run rates are being achieved.
- Conduct change overs as needed based on published production schedule.
- Complete all necessary paperwork on time and accurately.
- Verify that the product is being produced or package in accordance to specifications
- Ensure that all assigned Line Workers and Material Handlers are working efficiently and safely.
- Ensure that materials are being handled in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, SOP’s and current company policies.
- Assist from start to completion in manufacturing and packaging runs
- Adjust machinery as necessary within parameters of training/ability.
- Apprise supervisor of relevant information regarding employee performance, machinery, safety and quality
- Completes other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- HS diploma or equivalent along with relevant vocational/technical school certifications required.
- Experience in manufacturing a plus
- Leadership and communication skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 40 lbs. from floor to workbench or waist to shoulders.
