Salary Range: $200,000 - $250,000
Northern Virginia – 60% Remote / 40% Onsite

Requirements:
- DoD/IC Project Management Skills: Applicants should have a strong history as leading project/program management in the DoD/IC.
- College Degree Required: A four year bachelor's degree is required.
- Minimum 7 years Work Experience: Minimum 7 years work experience required post college in software engineering.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance: This role requires an Active TS/SCI Clearance.
- On Site Hybrid: This role will require being on site multiple times a week and requires living within approximately 30-60 minutes driving distance.
- Technical Project Management Experience: You should be highly organized with a strong history in technical project management for complex software projects.
- Customer Facing: Comfortable meeting with sophisticated customers and managing expectations on large high value projects.
Experience and Skills:
Ideal candidates will have the following experience.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal, public speaking, and written communications skills are a must.
- Capture: Proposal and Capture activities - comfortable with leading and/or drafting proposals both individually and as part of a team on larger proposals.
- Education: Candidates with science or engineering Masters degrees or MBA’s are preferred, however, very strong equivalent on-the-job experience may be sufficient.
- Technical: Although you don’t need to be a current or former software engineer, you need to have experience working closely with software engineers at a deep technical hands-on level. The ability to lead technical software discussions both externally with customers and internally with technical teams is required to be successful in this position.
- Deep Mission Knowledge: Detailed knowledge of various DoD mission needs and strong empathy for mission based on past experience. Minimum 5 years experience working in the DoD/IC is required.
Persuasive Writing and Meetings:
A successful applicant at MapLarge will enjoy creating content that is persuasive based on thoughtful data driven analysis for both internal and external consumption.
- This will involve both being comfortable sitting at a computer producing content on your own (long form documents, demo scripts, slides, etc.) and also collaboratively in real-time with teammates or customers in webex or in person meetings.
- A successful candidate would be able to rapidly learn new concepts and write about proposed solutions in a jargon free fashion that helps readers understand not just the conclusion, but the rationale that got there and to present it in a way that is open to improvement and adaptation based on the feedback of others.
- Internally decisions are made in a principle driven way, not by chain of command, but based on open minded team-driven conversations among very intelligent people who quickly evolve ideas to improve them in a collaborative way. We expect successful candidates to be able to participate in these kinds of conversations in a productive way internally and also to carry forward these sorts of conversations to engage customers in the same kind of dialogue.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage Programs and Lead and execute technical activities at all stages of the process for customer experience opportunities.
- Provide expert, hands-on domain and technology knowledge across the digital landscape while maintaining an up-to-date view on emerging digital experience technologies.
- Articulate the breadth and value of MapLarge solutions against customer use cases and explain how MapLarge differentiates from the competition.
- Articulate and demonstrate knowledge to clients in terms that are easy to understand and relevant to their business needs.
- Deliver standard and customized solution demonstrations and presentations outlining the functional capabilities, competitive advantages and business benefits of MapLarge solutions as they apply to client needs.
- Deliver solution demonstrations across all levels of a customer’s organization, including the power user, marketing user, and executive levels.
- Ability to deliver and manage proof of concept/proof of value scenarios for customers across industries.
- Support the response of RFI/RFP’s or business case requests.
- Provide solution leadership for MapLarge customer opportunities.
- Strategize with sales teams on objectives for client meetings, and understand how this activity relates to overall sales plan.
- Build a trusted relationship with Account Executives and client accounts to provide practical and theoretical guidance in the business value of the proposed solution.
- Set proper expectations throughout the customer account life cycle to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Guide sales teams on how to position MapLarge solutions against competitors and as part of a complex technology ecosystem.
- Understand, utilize and communicate best practice methodologies internally and externally.
- Provide support for regional business development activities and marketing events, as needed.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.

Office Locations and Travel:
- Hybrid On Site / Remote: This role allows working remotely approximately 60% of the time from within 30-60 minutes driving distance of the site location. On site time will be for active meetings, active debug / test / integration sessions, and substantial work can be done unclass from home remotely.
- Travel: This job requires travel on average once or twice a month to customer locations and industry conferences in the US for onsite meetings for approximately a couple of days per trip.
