- Ensure written flow charts, work instructions and/or standards for each position responsibility is consistent and accurate. Update, refine and adjust as needed or required
- Actively participates in all cross-functional team projects and assignments as directed by Plant Manager
- Additional responsibilities as needs present
- 2–4-year degree, desired (Technical and/or Vocation degree- Metal machining/Apprenticeship/Drafting/Engineering) and/or equivalent experience
- Above average technical knowledge; Exceptional Active listening; Knowledge of problem-solving methodology such as 5-why logic tree.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office: SAP and Outlook. Working knowledge of software programs and computers
- Production planning experience within Make to Order/specials products operation
- Ability to think and operate at both strategic and tactical levels; Building strong, proactive relationships
- 2-4 years’ experience with the cutting tool industry working with and/or preparing production schedules in relation to process times (5-8 years’ experience in manufacturing and processing for tooling industry, desired)
- Demonstrated experience in production scheduling/processing; quotation preparation
- Strong work ethic; self-motivated; independent and capable to make decisions.
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- High energy level with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer focused; ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
