Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role in Many, LA within the Water/Sewer Department. The role typically involves operating, monitoring, and maintaining water and sewer systems, including pumps, valves, meters, and related equipment. Daily tasks may include reading and recording meter data, performing routine inspections, troubleshooting system issues, and assisting with repairs to lines, mains, and service connections. The position may also include collecting samples, following established procedures for water quality and environmental compliance, and maintaining accurate logs and reports. The team member will work closely with other department staff, follow safety protocols, respond to service calls, and support emergency or after-hours operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to learn and apply water and sewer system operations, including basic mechanical and utility infrastructure concepts.
