ANTICIPATED: Health & Physical Education Teacher, Grades K-5, Manville School District, Weston & Roosevelt Elementary schools

Full Time, Tenure Track position

The Manville School District is seeking a caring, dedicated, and certified teacher for an Elementary Health & PE Teacher. The position is shared across Weston & Roosevelt Elementary schools.

Responsibilities

• Teach health and physical education classes to K-4 students
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Comprehensive Health and Physical Education
• Ensure student safety during all physical activities
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate health and PE concepts
• Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Health Education, or related field
• Valid New Jersey teaching certification in Health and Physical Education
• Experience teaching elementary-level health and PE preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Familiarity with technology integration in PE/Health curriculum
• Multilingual a plus
  
  

Salary is in accordance with the Manville Education Association. The annual salary range is commensurate with education level and years of experience, starting at $66,705 (minimum) to $95,850 (maximum) for the 2026-2027 school year.
