Responsibilities
- Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture aligned with established standards and procedures
- Conduct routine audits and address unsafe behaviors or conditions
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Partner with quality teams to maintain product and process compliance
- Support and lead continuous improvement and corrective action initiatives
- Ensure production meets technical and customer specifications
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities to meet output and performance targets
- Monitor process data and key performance indicators to optimize efficiency and stability
- Balance throughput, quality, and operational reliability
- Lead, coach, and develop front-line leaders and production teams
- Establish performance expectations, training plans, and measurable goals
- Encourage accountability, teamwork, and operational discipline
- Provide regular updates and performance summaries to senior leadership
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, utilization, and workflow efficiency
- Support capacity planning and operational readiness assessments
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to prioritize equipment reliability and scheduled work
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in metal manufacturing or rolling operations
- At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a production environment
- Strong understanding of high-temperature manufacturing processes and equipment
- Demonstrated success in safety performance, quality management, and process improvement
- Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across functional teams
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic operating environment
- Ability to meet pre-employment and job-specific requirements
Pay: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
