Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to oversee daily shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate inventory movement, maintain safety standards, supervise shipping and receiving personnel, and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities.
- Lead, train, and develop team members.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Verify shipment documentation, packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory records.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Coordinate with carriers, vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve shipping issues.
- Enforce company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.
- Track performance metrics and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Schedule staff and assign workloads to meet operational requirements.
- Operate and/or oversee the safe operation of forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Investigate and report discrepancies, damages, and delivery issues.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Shipping and Receiving experience.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work in warehouse conditions, including varying temperatures.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment as required.
