Job Overview
A leading Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Manager of Contracts to oversee the negotiation, administration, execution, and compliance of commercial, aerospace, defense, and industrial customer contracts. This position works closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure contractual obligations are met while minimizing business risk.

Key Responsibilities
- Review, negotiate, draft, and administer customer contracts, LTAs, NDAs, purchase agreements, and contract amendments.
- Analyze customer terms and conditions to identify contractual, financial, operational, and legal risks.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal teams.
- Support aerospace, defense, OEM, Tier 1, military, and government-related customer programs.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, aerospace industry standards, and contractual obligations.
- Participate in customer negotiations involving pricing, delivery schedules, warranty terms, liability limitations, and commercial agreements.
- Review bids and proposals to ensure contractual requirements are addressed before quotation submission.
- Monitor contract performance, milestones, renewals, and change orders.
- Maintain contract documentation and approval records.
- Support internal and external compliance audits.
- Recommend improvements to contract management processes and risk mitigation procedures.
- Provide guidance to internal teams regarding contractual obligations and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of contract management experience within Aerospace, Defense, or Industrial Manufacturing.
- Strong experience negotiating commercial contracts and customer terms & conditions.
- Solid understanding of aerospace manufacturing and engineered products.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with FAR/DFARS regulations.
- Knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality systems.
- Experience supporting military and government contracts.
- Experience working with OEM and Tier 1 Aerospace customers.
- Strong business and financial analysis skills.
