Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical components and systems by following blueprints, assembly instructions, and technical drawings.
- Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks, ensuring all parts fit and function correctly.
- Perform quality checks on all assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Document all assembly processes, including any modifications or adjustments made during the assembly process.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Work effectively as part of a team, coordinating with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues or defects during the production process.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production progress, delays, or issues.
- Assist in continuous improvement efforts to enhance assembly processes and increase efficiency.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly or a similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for assembly and fabrication tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform thorough quality checks.
- Excellent documentation skills to maintain accurate records of assembly tasks and adjustments.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
