Material Handler

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down forklift to move materials, products, and supplies within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks with raw materials and finished goods, ensuring proper handling and safe transport.
• Perform cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and maintain stock levels.
• Use RF scanning devices to track and record inventory movements in the warehouse management system.
• Maintain accurate records of materials received, stored, and shipped.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations to optimize warehouse space and ensure easy access.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to company safety protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth flow of materials and products in and out of the warehouse.
• Assist in other warehouse functions as needed, including material picking, staging, and product preparation.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage and ensure product integrity.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Valid forklift certification and experience operating forklifts safely.
• Strong work ethic with a stable work history and reliability.
• Ability to perform cycle counts and use RF scanning devices.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling processes.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour shift, Monday through Friday.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a material handling role in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management software and RF scanning systems.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse settings.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
