POSITION DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for Customer Service/ Administrative Support. We are seeking an experienced, talented, organized, and dedicated individual with the ability to directly service our customers - handling customer inquiries, problems and orders. The position is also responsible for a variety of clerical duties that support Customer Service – such as information gathering and customer referrals. Will work in conjunction not only with Customer Service and Sales but with the Sales Department as well. Duties include:· Ensure good service (phone coverage, prompt order processing, accurate order entry) for all customers – goal is 100% satisfaction for all clients.· Assist customers in the navigation of our company informational and ordering website.· Ensure consistency of practice on handling orders.· Actively solve customer problems in a timely manner – troubleshooting as needed with production, shipping, sales and accounting departments.· Monitor order backlogs to ensure timely deliveries.· Promptly, accurately, professionally and courteously receive telephone calls and visitors and assess all received calls and directs and records or relays messages.· Schedules and updates conference room calendar; prepare conference rooms as needed and orders coffee and lunch service for meetings; replenish bottled water in refrigerator as needed.· Prepares welcome sign for guest meetings on Digital Kiosk.· Maintains knowledge of current postal regulations and services frequently used by the organization and logs in and schedules messenger service pickup and delivery through On-Line Order system. As needed, orders postage supplies through Pitney Bowes and obtains updates to postage machine software.· Updates telephone directory monthly or as needed.· As needed, assists with clerical tasks to include typing, filing, proofreading, and maintenance of database and data entry. REQUIREMENTSThe qualified candidate will be required to have at least a high school diploma AND 1-3 years recent experience in servicing customers successfully – preferably in a product heavy situation. Proficiency in using Windows-based programs is essential. Good attention to details and procedures is critical as well as analytic skills. The candidate should be able to work as a team player and be flexible in a constantly changing environment. Excellent communication skills on the phone and in person - are important and the candidate must have empathy towards customer issues and be willing to go above and beyond to satisfy customer requests or issues.
Salary : $18 - $22
