Mantel is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, building financial models, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current and past financial data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Support month and quarter close activities and work with external consultants where applicable in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financials for management and stakeholders.
- Support scenario analysis, business cases, and investment analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of board materials, investor presentations, and ad-hoc financial reports.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across financial systems and reports.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in consulting or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
- Strong understanding of financial statements, modeling, and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
