MANTECH seeks motivated, career, and customer-oriented Platform Engineerfor a new initiative within the National Capital Region. This effort supports the rapid design, deployment, operation, and sustainment of enterprise-scale AI, data, and mission platform capabilities across cloud, edge, and classified operational environment.
This role supports mission analytics, AI-enabled workflows, predictive analytics, and operational intelligence applications. You will translate raw data into actionable insights, focusing on data science solutions for the mission.

- Lead capability prioritization and manage the product roadmap for the AI platform.
- Practice Agile product management using the Agile Manifesto to guide team execution.
- Drive User Centric Design principles, requirements decomposition, and breaking down Epics into Stories/Tasks.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and align operational delivery with mission prioritization.
- Plan and execute user adoption strategies to maximize the value of new AI capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology Management, or a related field.
- 5 or more years of experience in product management, product ownership, or requirements analysis.
- Proven expertise in Agile methodologies and principles (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize product backlogs and define acceptance criteria.
- Experience working directly with end-users and technical teams to translate mission requirements.
- Experience managing AI platforms, LLM-based products, or enterprise software delivery.
- Prior experience with Defense modernization initiatives.
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or related Agile credentials (SAFe certifications are NOT desired).
- For onsite work, a TS/SCI clearance with Poly will be required.
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
