ManTech seeks an inspired and seasoned innovator to drive the evolution of the Advanced Cyber Training Program in Hanover, Maryland. This is a hybrid position with 3 days a week onsite and two days a week remote.
As the Deputy Director for the Advanced Cyber Training Program, you will report directly to the Executive Director of the portfolio and play a critical role in steering the ACTP’s trajectory and guaranteeing its continuous development. Additionally, in this role, you will contribute to national security through groundbreaking projects that foster career progression.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Navigate ACTP with a comprehensive plan that aligns to the organizations mission and vision Supporting the Advanced Cyber Training Program at ManTech by providing impactful insights and strategic innovation for the immediate and long-term future.
Assess the competitive landscape to identify strengths and weaknesses and formulate strategies for keeping ACTP’s competitive edge.
Collaborate with ACTP team to foster a culture of innovation by encouraging creative thinking and initiatives that lead to product and service enhancements.
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities and use analysis to make strategic decisions.
Provide leadership and guidance to the ACS Division involved in executing strategic initiatives.
Assess risks associated with strategic decisions, develop risk mitigation plans and identify areas for process improvement within the ACTP team as well as the ACS Division.
Prepares communications relating to program management and life cycle support activities
Assists in the preparation of presentation graphics such as PowerPoint slide decks for briefings
Track action items such as corporate taskers or meeting action items, encouraging the supported teams to meet target milestones and informing leadership of risk of failure
Minimum Qualifications:
+10 years of experience in strategy and development with relevant training programs
Master’s Degree in education, communication, business, technology, or equivalent field
Proven expertise in education with at least 15 years of working in an educational setting.
Solid understanding of and ability to report out data, metrics, and dashboards
Experience in presenting information and communicating to large groups, senior executives, and cross-sector organizations
Preferred Qualifications:
Detail oriented with a solid understanding of the importance of the little things that ensure ManTech correspondence is always viewed as professional and effective
Time management – able to multi-task, track program related activities, and prioritize daily workload; knows when to escalate concerns to management.
Experience in working with diverse cross-sector industries and diverse teams.
Self-motivated and autonomous with the ability to work without close supervision while able to manage to deadlines
Security Requirements:
US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Capable of operating a computer and other office productivity machinery
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $150,800.00-$270,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
