Manta Mobile Detailing is a premium mobile detailing company serving Clark County, WA. We clean and restore vehicles at our customers’ homes and businesses, and we are building a team of sharp, reliable technicians who take pride in doing excellent work.

We are looking for a Mobile Detailing Technician who is hard working, coachable, reliable, and good with people.

You do not need years of detailing experience. We can train the right person. But you do need to show up on time, work hard, follow directions, and care about doing the job right.

This is not a basic car wash job. You will be cleaning interiors, washing exteriors, using detailing tools and chemicals safely, talking with customers, and helping deliver a premium experience from start to finish.

We are looking for someone who wants to get good, move fast, take ownership, and grow with the company.

What You’ll Do

Perform interior and exterior mobile detailing services

Vacuum, blow out, scrub down, steam clean, and detail vehicle interiors

Wash, foam, clean wheels, clean tires, clean door jambs, dry, and finish vehicle exteriors

Use detailing tools, vacuums, pressure washers, air tools, steamers, and chemicals safely

Follow Manta’s detailing process and quality standards

Communicate professionally with customers

Keep the work van, tools, and supplies clean and organized

Work quickly without cutting corners

Take before and after photos when needed

Ask happy customers for reviews

Recommend extra services when they make sense for the customer

Represent Manta Mobile Detailing professionally at every job

No experience is okay if you are sharp, reliable, and willing to learn. The right attitude matters more than a long resume.

Pay & Growth

Training and supervised work starts at $20/hr.

Once you are trained and working solo, your pay is based on whichever is higher:

Hourly floor

Or commission based on completed jobs

You can also earn more through tips, review bonuses, and performance pay.

Commission tiers are based on performance, quality, customer reviews, and efficiency. Strong technicians can earn more as they improve and take on more responsibility.

Training is paid.

There is real room to grow as Manta grows. The right person can grow into a lead technician, van lead, trainer, or future management role.

Schedule

Full time

Day shift

Usually 5 days per week

Around 8 to 10 hours per day depending on job load, daylight, and demand

Some weeks may have additional days available during busy seasons

Schedule is set in advance as much as possible

Hiring Process

The video can be recorded on your phone. It does not need to be fancy. We just want to get a feel for your communication, attitude, and reliability.

You are paid from day one while learning Manta’s process. The three day paid training and working interview helps both sides make sure the job is a good fit before a final hiring decision.

Work Location

Mobile service route throughout Clark County, WA.

Start location is in the Battle Ground / Vancouver area depending on the schedule.
