Mobile Car Detailing Technician

Manta Mobile Detailing is hiring two full-time technicians to join our growing team.

We are a locally owned mobile detailing company serving Clark County, with more than 300 five-star reviews. We have built Manta by taking great care of our customers, doing work we are proud of, and creating a better experience than the average car wash or detailing company.

No professional detailing experience is required. We provide paid, hands-on training and all of the tools, equipment, and products needed to do the job.

We are looking for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in their work, communicates well, and wants the opportunity to build a valuable skill and earn more as they improve.

What the Job Looks Like

You will begin each workday at our Ridgefield warehouse, prepare a fully equipped company van, and travel to scheduled customers throughout Clark County.

You will work alongside an experienced technician during training. Once you are ready, you will begin completing jobs more independently.

Most days involve one or two vehicles at different customer locations. The work includes interior detailing, exterior detailing, driving between appointments, communicating with customers, taking photos, and keeping the van and equipment organized.

This is active, hands-on work. You will spend most of the day moving, standing, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors. For someone who enjoys physical work and seeing the finished result of what they accomplished, it can be very rewarding.

Pay and Earning Potential

• Training starts at $20 per hour
• Guaranteed minimum of $20 per hour
• Once trained to work independently, technicians can earn performance-based commission
• You are paid hourly or commission, whichever is higher
• Technicians keep 100% of their tips
• Expected earning range of approximately $20–$35 per hour

New technicians generally begin at $20 per hour. As you become more skilled, efficient, and independent, you can move into higher commission tiers and increase your earning potential.

Quality always comes first, but technicians who consistently produce great work while becoming more efficient have the strongest opportunity to earn more.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Typically 4–5 days per week
• Approximately 8–10 hours per day
• Saturdays are included in the regular schedule
• Workdays usually begin around 8:00 a.m.
• Most days finish between approximately 4:00 and 7:00 p.m.
• Expected hours are approximately 32–50 per week

Because vehicle conditions and daily routes vary, the exact finishing time will not always be the same.

Responsibilities

• Complete professional interior and exterior vehicle details
• Follow Manta’s detailing process and quality checklist
• Treat every customer’s vehicle with care
• Communicate professionally with customers and teammates
• Take clear before-and-after photos
• Use a smartphone to view schedules and complete job checklists
• Safely drive a company van between appointments
• Keep the van, tools, products, and equipment clean and organized
• Help load, unload, clean, and restock equipment
• Continue learning and improving through coaching and hands-on experience

Experience in detailing, landscaping, pressure washing, construction, warehouse work, moving, hospitality, or another physical customer-service position can be helpful, but it is not required.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation to and from our Ridgefield warehouse
• Able to safely drive a company van
• Willing to complete a driving-record check before employment
• Available to work Saturdays
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, and light rain
• Able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, reach, and perform repetitive physical work
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Comfortable using a smartphone for schedules, photos, and communication
• Authorized to work in the United States

Training and Growth

We do not expect you to know everything on your first day.

You will receive paid, hands-on training covering our detailing process, equipment, products, customer communication, van organization, and quality standards.

As you improve, you can earn more independence, move into higher commission tiers, and potentially grow into a lead technician or training position.

We are building Manta for the long term and want people who are interested in growing with us.
