What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Host position at Mansa Hospitality?
Mansa Hospitality in Birmingham, AL is looking for one breakfast host to join our strong team. We are located on 320 Commons Drive. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, engaged, and well organized. This shift is flexible and will serve from approximately 5 am - 11:30 am during week and weekends 6a to 12p. Candidate must be available to work during the week and on weekends depending on the occupancy of the hotel. Ideal candidate would have an out-going personality, as they will be interacting with the guests each morning before, during, and after the preparation of the breakfast buffet.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the breakfast buffet each morning.
- Keep the kitchen, breakfast buffet area, and the dining area clean, sanitized, restocked, and guest ready.
- Interact with the guests to find out how they are enjoying their stay to improve guest satisfaction.
- Once breakfast is complete, you are responsible for putting away the food under local health standards and regulations, thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and entire breakfast area, and mopping floors before leaving for the day.
Preferred Qualifications
- Food Handler Card but you can acquire card in training once your hired
- Previous food and beverage serving experience
