US-Quality Engineer II

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a US-Quality Engineer II to join their team. As a US-Quality Engineer II, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting the engineering and production teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to quality assurance, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: US-Quality Engineer II

Location: Beltsville, MD

Pay Range: $46 - $49 hourly

What's the Job?

• Relieve the current quality team from routine tasks to focus on critical hot issues.
• Utilize deep AS9100 quality standards experience to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings with high proficiency to support inspection and quality checks.
• Create First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and manage inspection plans using balloon drawings and Discus.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards and improve processes.
  
  

What's Needed?

• Extensive experience with AS9100 quality standards as a quality engineer.
• High-level ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in creating and managing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs/FAIs).
• Experience with balloon drawings and creating inspection plans using Discus.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
