Manpower has partnered with a Kansas City based merchandising and packaging solutions company, and due to growth, they are hiring several qualified Project Managers with their Kansas City team.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing customer projects from cradle to grave that include estimating, negotiating, material sourcing and taking ownership of all client communication. The Ideal candidate will have previous packaging industry experience and a strong desire to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Job Title: Project Manager I and II
Location: Kansas City, MO
Pay Rate Range: $60-90K annually DOE
What’s the Job?
- Responsible for understanding manufacturing equipment including limitations and production processes as they relate to estimating.
- Knowledge in reading specifications and technical documents to complete job estimates.
- Source various materials such as corrugated sheets, labels, foam, plastic parts, films, tape, wood, etc. used in conjunction with the corrugated package or display.
- Recommending cost-cutting methods to increase profitability.
- Create estimates and quote sheets using internal processes/documentation to fulfill customer requests
- Collaborate with other departments, designers, and project managers
What’s Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is desired but not required.
- 5 yrs of successful project management experience in manufacturing, print, logistics or related industries.
- Background in corrugated / packaging industry is highly desired.
- Salesforce software experience desired.
