Project Engineer: III

Our client, an industry leader in energy and infrastructure, is seeking a Project Engineer: III to join their team. As a Project Engineer: III, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting project management and technical execution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate self-motivation, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Maintain protection of environment and prioritize health and safety during project execution.
• Manage project activities including updates, forecasting, cost control, scheduling, and documentation.
• Collaborate with project owners to define scope, goals, and deliverables supporting staged gate project management.
• Develop project cost and schedule estimates, prepare funding requests, and coordinate procurement activities.
• Coordinate drawings, RFIs, change proposals, and interface with contractors and internal teams to ensure project success.
  
  

What's Needed?

• Degree in engineering or technology with 12 years of industry experience.
• Proven project engineering experience at operating facilities handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of equipment specifications, procurement processes, and project budget management.
• Expertise in instrumentation and controls, actuated valve design, distributed control systems, and related systems.
• Experience with commissioning, startup planning, troubleshooting, and safety work management systems.
