Project Controls Manager (Confidential)

Our client, a large-scale facilities operations and infrastructure services organization, is seeking a Project Controls Manager – Facilities Operations to join their team. As a Project Controls Manager, you will be part of the Operations / Facilities Management Department, supporting site operations, maintenance teams, and customer stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive problem‑solving mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Project Controls Manager

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Pay Range: $52 - $60 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Lead daily operations and workforce oversight for Foremen and union Building Operators (Local 420).
• Coordinate, track, and close all work orders, preventive maintenance, and trouble calls using CMMS/QFM and BAS.
• Ensure compliance with union agreements, safety programs, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for site operations, contractors, helpdesk, and customer stakeholders.
• Oversee emergency preparedness, incident response, and operational reporting.
  
  

What’s Needed?

• Proven experience managing facilities or project controls in large, unionized environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing systems, and building automation systems.
• Experience with CMMS/QFM platforms, work order management, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Demonstrated leadership in safety enforcement, regulatory compliance, and workforce supervision.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, contracts, and regulatory documentation with minimal oversight.
