Process Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the petrochemical industry, is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting process optimization and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Port Neches, Texas 77651

What's the Job?

• Assist production engineers in deriving operating targets to optimize unit performance.
• Develop process scope for capital projects, including justifications and conceptual design reviews.
• Participate in and lead incident investigations to enhance plant safety and environmental compliance.
• Implement process improvements to increase production efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and lower operating costs.
• Conduct process simulations and modeling to support operational decision-making and troubleshooting.
  
  

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of process engineering experience in a chemical processing manufacturing setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
• Ethylene oxide (would be a huge PLUS)
