Mobile HVAC/R Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the retail and commercial sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile HVAC/R Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC/R Technician, you will be an essential part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders on facility systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring safety standards are met.
• Conduct inspections of interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting, to identify and address issues proactively.
• Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for tracking work performed and update work order statuses in real time.
• Maintain a valid state driver’s license and be available for call-in work as needed, performing other duties to support facility operations.
  
  

What's Needed?

• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a focus on HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and equipment repair and maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and supermarket refrigeration systems.
• Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).
• Willingness to join UFCW 951 union.
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
