MACHINE OPERATOR (CNC – HAAS)
Core Responsibilities

Operated HAAS CNC machines independently in accordance with Standard Work instructions to meet production, quality, and safety requirements.

Performed in-process and final inspections using calibrated measuring tools including calipers, depth gauges, thread gauges, and pin gauges, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and AQL standards.

Conducted operator maintenance and operational checks on departmental equipment to support uptime and prevent production delays.

Followed all safety protocols and PPE requirements, maintaining a clean and organized work area in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Actively participated in Lean manufacturing activities, including 5S, SQDCC boards, Hour-by-Hour charts, and Lean Engagement initiatives.

Identified and reported material, tooling, and process issues to the Team Leader and supported corrective actions to protect product quality and output.

Segregated and disposed of scrap and recyclable materials in approved containers per company procedures.

Performed physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and climbing.

Accurately completed production records, inspection logs, and departmental paperwork as required.

Worked under daily direction from Team Leader/Supervisor while maintaining the ability to perform tasks independently.
