PT Seasonal Host/ess at Manor Vail Lodge ($20/hr+)

Location Description: Manor Vail Lodge is one of Vail's original and iconic properties. With studio, one, two and three-bedroom condominiums plus luxury penthouses, Manor Vail Lodge is a full-service condominium property that features all the amenities of a full-service hotel, including two outdoor heated swimming pools, four hot tubs, spa, fitness center, The Fitz Bar and Ridge River restaurant. Located steps from Vail Village, Golden Peak ski area, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, and the Ford Amphitheater, Manor Vail Lodge is the complete package for Vail lodging.  Manor Vail Lodge is managed by Mountain Mastery Management Inc.

Overview:  The Host/ess are responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for guests.  These individuals have the ability to influence the overall restaurant experience by their interactions that include providing table accommodations and offering menu recommendations.  Host/ess may be the final point of contact and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction.  If you have worked as a restaurant host/ess, your skills are invaluable to the position of Host/ess at Manor Vail Lodge.  Your restaurant job experience will give you the tools to be successful as a restaurant Host/ess.

Earn $20/hr plus gratuities.  

Looking to hire by 5/31/26 or until filled for the summer season.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• A desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.


• Refined verbal communication skills.


• Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant


• Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table


• Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area


• Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have


• Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff


• Answering phones and scheduling reservations with large parties through Open Table


• Able to assist bussing tables and running food

Qualifications:

• Flexibility:  This is a demanding business and we look for flexibility with work days and hours, but it’s also a lot of fun! 


• Experience:   Previous experience passionately providing service to others preferred. 


• Knowledge:   Familiarity with restaurant terminology and food service techniques preferred. 


• People Person:  The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond expectations. 


• Great communicator:   Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and through legible writing


• A qualified applicant is a “people person” who is flexible with their schedule, loves to serve others, and knows how to multi-task while ensuring accuracy.
