Primary Purpose:
Manor ISD is seeking a dynamic and experienced Instructional Coordinator to lead the district-wide implementation of Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS) that ensure rigorous, engaging, and equitable learning for all students. The Instructional Coordinator will play a pivotal leadership role coordinating the efforts of instructional coaches and master teachers to build the instructional capacity of teachers across all content areas through professional learning, collaboration, and ongoing support.
Qualifications/Certifications
Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field (required)
Valid Texas teaching certification (required)

Experience:

Essential Job Functions:
- Develop, organize, and facilitate high-quality professional development sessions focused on research-based instructional strategies.
- Tailor training to meet the diverse needs of PK–12 educators across all content areas.
- Model effective instructional practices in various settings including workshops, PLCs, and classrooms.
- Work closely with instructional coaches, master teachers, and campus administrators to ensure aligned and consistent training and implementation of RBIS across campuses.
- Serve as a thought partner to the curriculum team members to embed research-based strategies into district curriculum and instructional frameworks.

Support teachers in transferring professional development into daily practice through job-embedded coaching, modeling, and feedback.
Lead initiatives that promote instructional excellence and equity by grounding teaching practices in research and student-centered strategies. - Utilize data (qualitative and quantitative) to assess instructional needs, monitor impact, and refine support.

Stay current on educational research and trends and serve as a resource for best practices in instruction and adult learning.
Ensure that RBIS are accessible, practical, and effective across content areas, including core subjects, electives, and special programs. - Provide differentiated support that considers the unique needs of various disciplines while maintaining consistency in instructional expectations.
