Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks, commercial trucks, or vehicles to deliver goods during night shifts
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques
- Plan and follow optimized delivery routes using mobile devices to ensure punctual arrivals
- Adhere strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws during route driving
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering products courteously and professionally
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues promptly
Experience
- Previous delivery driver experience, especially with courier or
driver roles, is highly preferred - Warehouse experience including material handling, moving, and warehouse operations is advantageous
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safe lifting practices in the workplace is required
- Experience with route driving using mobile devices or GPS systems to navigate efficiently
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism
