Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide direction, coaching, and oversight to the accounting and finance groups, including senior accounting leadership and their teams.
  • Manage the full financial reporting cycle, ensuring all statements are produced accurately, on schedule, and in alignment with GAAP and other applicable standards.
  • Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, coordinating audit activities and ensuring all regulatory expectations are met.
  • Lead the internal audit function, conducting routine evaluations of financial controls, systems, policies, and processes.
  • Build and refine scalable accounting workflows that support organizational growth, including the introduction of automation and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee monthly and annual close activities, ensuring thorough account reconciliation and reliable financial results.
  • Partner with the CFO and executive team to align financial operations with broader corporate strategy, offering insights to support planning and decision-making.
  • Optimize the use of financial and accounting platforms to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and visibility across the organization.


Qualifications

  • Active CPA credential required.
  • 10 years of increasing responsibility in accounting roles, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership/management capacity.
  • Strong command of GAAP, internal controls, SEC-related reporting practices, SOX compliance, and general financial reporting frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience leading audits and managing compliance obligations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Previous exposure to Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
  • High-level analytical ability with strong judgment and problem-solving capabilities.

Compensation: $220,000-250,000
