A successful venture capital firm investing in the life sciences space is hiring an Administrative Business Partner to support the executive office in a fast-paced, dynamic, and mission-driven environment. This individual will ensure seamless execution of executive operations, manage complex calendars and priorities, and serve as a trusted liaison across internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executive Support: Manage executives' calendars, travel, and logistics with discretion and proactivity
- Strategic Coordination: Prepare meeting materials, agendas, briefings, and follow-ups for internal and external meetings
- Internal Communications: Serve as a conduit between executives and key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, clarity, and execution of priorities
- Project Management: Lead or support special projects and initiatives on behalf of leadership, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and communications are on track
- Board & Investor Coordination: Assist with the preparation and distribution of materials for board meetings, investor updates, and leadership off-sites
- Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and professionalism
- Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities to improve workflows, administrative systems, and cross-functional coordination
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 7–10 years of experience supporting C-suite executives in fast-paced, high-growth, or matrixed environments
- Proven ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and operate with discretion
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail
- Adept at managing multiple systems and tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, Zoom, Asana, etc.)
- Emotionally intelligent, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
- Comfortable interacting with executive stakeholders, board members, and external partners
Compensation:
- $145-150k
