We are dedicated to fostering a safe, healthy, and productive work environment. We are seeking a versatile and dedicated professional to join our Pick Pack team in Small Parcel Shipping.
Location: Winter Haven, FL
Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with occasional Saturdays as needed
Pay range is $17.00 hour
Summary
This position is responsible for accurate and prompt picking of products from warehouse storage areas, and packaging for shipment. During our peak season this position will require the ability to work overtime and on Saturdays as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Prompt and accurate picking of customer orders from warehouse shelving and storage.
- Wrapping and packing picked goods.
- Completing picked orders forms as directed for packing and/or processing.
- Maintaining an organized workstation and warehouse.
- Loading outgoing freight.
- Help maintain a safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting and/or inventory track a plus.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Basic computer skills a plus.
- Must have good safety habits and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to collaborate and function in a team environment.
- Demonstrate ability to perform in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a pleasant and cooperative temperament with coworkers and customers.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position is in the warehouse with varying temperatures depending on the season.
- Mobility within the facility, including but not limited to, sitting, reaching, standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
- Lifting to 50 lbs. for long periods of time throughout the day.
