The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with technical understanding, acting as a key liaison between customers and internal teams. Full ownership of account performance, including profit & loss accountability, will be central to success in this position.
Main Tasks
- Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with assigned OEM customer accounts
- Identify and secure new business opportunities aligned with long-term strategic goals
- Serve as the primary customer interface, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and responsiveness
- Translate customer requirements into actionable internal plans across engineer, operations, and product teams
- Lead customer-related programs from concept development through prototypes and production phases
- Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations
- Provide ongoing technical support and product training to customers
- Prepare pricing proposals, quotations, and lead commercial negotiations in alignment with company policy
- Own and execute annual sales planning and budgeting processes
- Track and manage order intake, ensuring alignment with revenue targets and forecasts
- Analyze customer demand and market trends to provide accurate forecasting and business insights
- Manage contracts, ensuring compliance and delivery of expected financial outcomes
- Collaborate cross-funcationally on program and development teams
- Align activities with regional OE (Original Equipment) priorities and corporate strategies
- Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
- Equivalent combinations of education and/or experience will be considered
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to influence and build relationships at multiple organizational levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to perform under pressure
- Willingness to travel up to 25% (primarily domestic)
- 3-5 years of experience in finance, purchasing, sales, or engineering preferred
- Experience working with OEMs such as General Motors
- Background in filtration products or related automotive systems
- Experience managing complex, long-cycle sales processes
