The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in supporting the facility by conducting preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure smooth operations in the manufacturing and rebuild areas.
Main Tasks
- Perform major mechanical and electrical repairs on equipment
- Work effectively in both team settings and independently
- Adhere to departmental procedures and quality systems
- Utilize maintenance software and computer-based tools
- Apply troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve issues
- Plan and schedule tasks to ensure timely completion of assigned work
- Rebuild and refurbish equipment parts and sub-assemblies
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proven experience in mechanical repair with electrical knowledge, or as an electrician with strong mechanical skills
- Industrial manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with shop tools and automated equipment at all levels
- Completion of an apprenticeship program with a journeyman’s card
- 8 years of experience in a specialized or multi-craft role
- Experience with plastic injection molding is a plus
