Job Responsibilities
- Territory responsibility – United States
- Key market focus – Process Industry (ex. Dairy, Cheese, Whey, Gelantin, Protien, etc)
- Key technologies – Reverse Osmosis (RO), Ultra-Filtration (UF), Nano-Filtration (NF), Micro-Filtration (MF) and Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR)
- Supports the business in strategy execution and implementation of the regional growth plan (prepare a strategic sales plan focused on target accounts and markets, supports order analysis, reviews contracts, prepares and maintains relevant documentation)
- Provide ongoing technical support and ensure high-quality customer service (follow-up of orders, customer visits, prepare and conduct customer presentations)
- Serve as a liaison between the customer and MANN HUMMEL internal departments, understand customer needs and initiate
- Prepare the price analyses, as well as the operational sales planning
- Prepare and conduct price negotiations for new projects and customers
- Support the business with market research and industry intelligence
- Identify and develop new customers for driving growth
- Accelerate new channel partner (distributor, OEM, integrator) relationships
- Maintain and update Salesforce customer files, records, opportunities and call reports
- Provide monthly forecasting
- Responsible for achieving annual booking and revenue targets
- Provide urgent response time in delivering customer & channel partner satisfaction
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a similar field of study
- 3 years’ minimum relevant sales and/or business development experience in membrane filtration, and/or general filtration
- Customer driven, organization and coordination skills, self-motivated and ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel approximately 40% (Primarily domestic U.S./ Canada)
- Conflict management skills
- Strong English communication skills
- Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- CRM experience
- Membrane Filtration experience in the Food, Dairy, or Biotechnology industries
- SAP
- Salesforce CRM
