The Mankato School District has positions available for Special Education Paraeducators and Student Success Coaches. Positions are available in Early Learning, Elementary, Middle School, and High School sites.. Both full-time and part-time positions are available for the 2024-25 school year.
Summary of Duties
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist the special and general teachers in providing instruction to individuals or small groups of special education students in an assigned educational program; assist children with meeting the goals and objectives of their Individualized Education Plan (IEP); attend to the physical and health needs of students; monitor and report student progress regarding educational performance; perform a variety of clerical and supportive duties related to classroom activities and classroom management.
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria to qualify for this position
Starting $17.78 - $18.96 per hour.

- 60-semester credits (or two years full-time at an institute of higher education)
- or an Associate's degree (AA, AS, AAS) or a cut score of at least 460 on the ParaPro Assessment
