Early Childhood Educator II/III

MECEC Preschool, is currently hiring for an ECE II to work at our location inside Elmwood High School. The ECE will be responsible for the care and programming for children aged 3 months to 6 years of age.

Munroe ECE Centre Inc. is looking for a candidates, with the following attributes:

• available to work Monday to Friday in varied shifts from 7 - 5:30
• experienced in Play based and Emergent Curriculum
• strong Behaviour Management skills
• comfortable working in a diverse environment with children, staff and families.
• experience as a Lead ECE - helping to mentor CCA's
• physically able to lift up to 20 kg and participate through all activities
• respectful in handling conflicts and communicating effectively.
• strong advocates for children and their families as well as our field.
  
  

Requirements

• ECE II or III classification
• Commit to Kids Certification
• Circle of Security
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Accessibility Training
• at least 2 years experience working with children 3 months to 6 years.
