We’re hiring our next Student Ministry Worship Leader!
Lead worship. Mentor student musicians. Impact the next generation for Christ! Dedicated to MBIC’s mission of “initiating and nurturing a growing relationship with Christ,” the Student Ministry Worship Leader provides dynamic leadership and spiritual formation for middle school and high school students (grades 5–12). This pivotal role shapes the worship culture for weekly gatherings and retreats across our 56ers, Remix, and W54 ministries, creating spaces where students can truly connect with God.
The Student Ministry Worship Leader recruits, develops, and mentors a rising team of student and volunteer musicians, equipping them with the tools to lead their peers in authentic, Christ-centered worship. Whether you are coaching a student guitarist, leading rehearsals, or collaborating closely with our Worship Arts Director and youth ministry pastors, your leadership will foster an environment that encourages diverse worship expressions, student ownership, and creative engagement with Scripture.
Position Details & Logistics:
- Time Commitment: Part-time, 15 hours/week (in-person).
- Schedule: Includes regular weekly hours, rehearsals, and evening work to support youth programming and special retreats.
- Compensation & Benefits: Salary is based on experience and education. Part-time roles at MBIC also include awesome additional benefits, such as meeting and educational funding.
- Prerequisites: Member (or willing to become a member) of MBIC, alignment with BIC core values and beliefs, and completion of all required clearances (FBI, State Police, and child abuse) prior to the start date.
