CSTEP engages eligible students who are completing majors that lead to careers in STEM and health-related fields, through entrance into professional licensures.

As of the Fall 2025 semester, CSTEP has served two hundred and fifty freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors studying in Manhattan University’s School of Engineering, Kakos School of Arts and Sciences, and O’Malley School of Business. As a statewide initiative that addresses underrepresentation in STEM fields, CSTEP at Manhattan University has supported many students in completing their degrees successfully by providing access to a pre-freshman summer program, tutors, academic coaches, advising, and mentorship opportunities. Additionally, there is assistance for participants with their postgraduate goals, which can include employment, pursuing a professional licensure, or accessing graduate degrees.
