About The Kakos School of Arts and Sciences:
The Kakos School of Arts and Sciences is a vibrant, interdisciplinary community of student and faculty scholars working together to advance excellence in research, teaching, and learning. We combine Lasallian values with a person-centered approach to education to cultivate transferable critical thinking and scientific inquiry skills. Our students have the unique opportunity to scaffold their disciplinary passions on a strong foundation of the liberal arts and sciences to help them become successful, ethical professionals and community-engaged stewards of the future.
Our 33 majors and 6 graduate programs prioritize building career-ready skills and include opportunities to engage with faculty in learning environments inside and outside of the classroom. We encourage students to study abroad in our signature two-week faculty led programs, conduct research projects with distinguished faculty members, pursue internships and leverage all the unique cultural experiences New York City has to offer. Approximately 85% of our graduates either find employment or enroll in a graduate program related to their field of study within a year of graduation.
The Organizational Leadership Program at Manhattan University prepares students to lead effectively in today's dynamic and diverse workplaces. Through a combination of theory and practice, students develop skills in leadership, communication, organizational change, project management, team development, strategic thinking, and decision-making.
The Organizational Leadership Program seeks part-time adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Organizational Leadership in online, hybrid, and/or face-to-face formats. Faculty are expected to deliver high-quality, engaging instruction that supports student success and professional growth while fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Organizational Leadership courses based on program needs.
Salary Range Based On Experience
Instructor: $4,431.83 per 3-credit course per semester
Assistant Professor: $4,578.76 per 3-credit course per semester
Associate Professor: $4,726.94 per 3-credit course per semester
Professor: $4,875.13 per 3-credit course per semester

- Deliver engaging and effective instruction in Organizational Leadership courses.
- Develop and maintain course syllabi, learning materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Facilitate meaningful discussions and learning activities that connect theory to practice.
- Provide timely feedback on assignments and student performance.
- Support and mentor students throughout their academic journey.
- Maintain regular communication with students and program leadership.
- Participate in program assessment and continuous improvement efforts as appropriate.

- Experience teaching at the college or university level, preferably in online and/or hybrid formats.
- Demonstrated commitment to student success and engagement.
- Candidates with a proven record of excellence in teaching and mentoring adult learners are preferred.
