Salary

• \$18.00/hour.
• This position is not eligible for benefits.
  
  

Hours Per Day

• Early Learning: 8:40 - 3:40.
• Elementary hours: 8:45 - 3:45.
• Secondary hours: 7:40 - 2:50.
• Times may vary depending on the building assignment.
• Flexible hours depending on availability.
• Average workday = 7.5 hours.
• Terms of Employment**:
• Positions available during the regular school year.
  
  

Reports To

• Director of Communications and Safety/Building Principal.
• Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the Board of
  
  

Educations policy on the evaluation of personnel.

Job Duties

• Reports to parents, school personnel, physicians, clinics, and other
  
  

agencies on school medical matters.

• Assumes responsibility for the first aid care of a student or staff
  
  

member who has suffered injury or illness

• Provides health education on an individual basis.
• Visits home of students when necessary or when referred by
  
  

principals.

• Advises on modification of the educational program to meet health
  
  

needs of individual students.

• Advises teachers on health matters, particularly regarding screening
  
  

for student health problems.

• Interprets laws relating to school health.
• Assists school personnel in establishing healthy conditions in
  
  

schools.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
