This is more than an order-entry position. You'll be a key part of helping customers succeed by providing accurate quotes, coordinating materials, managing projects, and building lasting relationships that drive business growth.

What You'll Do

As an Inside Sales Associate, you'll serve as a trusted resource for customers and work closely with quotes, sales, purchasing, and operations teams to deliver outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and manage competitive project quotations
• Source, order, and coordinate materials from vendors and manufacturers
• Follow up on open quotes, orders, and project opportunities
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order status
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and responsiveness
• Support contractors, industrial customers, OEMs, and other accounts with product and project needs
• Collaborate with outside sales representatives and branch personnel to maximize sales opportunities
• Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
• Maintain accurate customer and project information within company systems
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and strengthen customer partnerships

What We're Looking ForPreferred Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, industrial, automation, or wholesale distribution
• Previous inside sales, customer service, quotations, purchasing, or counter sales experience
• Knowledge of electrical products, lighting, switchgear, controls, wire and cable, or related industrial products
• Experience working with contractors, commercial projects, industrial accounts, or OEM customers
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficiency with computer systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office
