PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assure approved timesheets are received for all jobs.
- Import of field hours worked into the payroll system.
- Ensure all time is in the system correctly.
- Pay any reimbursable items.
- Monitor all employee deductions.
- Pay employee garnishments when due.
- Assist in preparing Certified Payroll reports.
- Assist in preparation of OCIP and CCIP reports.
- Monitor all new employees to insure all required new hire forms are received.
- Process all new hires into the system.
- Track all employee job transfers to assure paychecks go to the right jobs.
- Verify the computation of all incentive items for payment.
- Special projects as needed.
Required Experience:
- 2 years of experience processing payroll required
- Proficient in Outlook, Word; excellent Excel skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with all personality types and under strict deadlines.
- Reliable with strong work ethic and excellent teamwork.
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential material.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for an ambitious person that has 2 years high-volume construction payroll experience that includes certified payroll, preferably in a multi-company environment. Experience with construction accounting/payroll software (ex: Viewpoint Vista, Sage/Timberline, etc.) preferred. The right person will have a positive attitude, focus on solving problems professionally, and team focus. There is great opportunity for the right person to broaden their payroll skills in our rapidly expanding company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Degree
Specific Skills:
- Familiarity with Construction Accounting Software desired.
- Familiarity with Excel
Analytical Skills
- Good Organization & Attention-to-detail
- Preference will be given to bi-lingual candidates.
