General Production Worker (2 pm - 10:30 pm)

Manea’s Meats is a specialty, family-owned and operated meat market in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. We pride ourselves in our unique selections of beef, chicken, and pork. All sausages, bacon, meat sticks, and more are made in house!

As a General Production Worker, you will be an essential part of our food processing team, ensuring the efficient assembly and manufacturing of products while adhering to CGMP and GMP standards. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your core skills in food production, sanitation, and food safety will be vital in maintaining a clean and compliant work environment. With relevant skills in mechanical operations and packaging, you will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering safe and high-quality food products.

Full-time Afternoon Shift 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm Monday - Friday, end times and hours vary based on production needs.

This is full-time role and qualifies for our full benefits package, including a lunch provided every shift.

The starting pay range for this position is $21.00 - 23.00/hour, based on experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Starts assembly and production machinery at the beginning of shift.
• Monitor equipment to ensure that products are being made properly.
• Addresses problems with production equipment and machinery and fixes them as needed.
• Cleans equipment.
• Assembles products by hand.
• Observes and removes faulty products from production line and notifies supervisor.
• Verify packaged products to ensure that they are up to quality standards.
• Affixes labels, company logos, and other exterior details to products.
• Package completed products then prepares them for shipment.
• Cleaning of workstation and machines.
• Unloads, organizes, and stocks shipments.
• Adheres to all safety guidelines dictating the production and handling of materials in the facility.
• Ensure that all production deadlines are met.
• Reports on issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job.
• Individuals should have the ability to maintain concentration while performing tasks.
• Individuals should have a good safety and attendance record. Regular attendance at work and punctuality are essential job functions.
• Demonstrated commitment to the GMP program requirements.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Safety training.
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) training.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires the use of all parts of the body. This includes activities such as (but not limited to) walking, lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, twisting, and turning. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, elbows, hands, and fingers are required. It requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and occasionally up to 60 lbs. Lastly, this position requires the ability to stand for the entirety of the shift (minus break/rest periods). This position is subject to temperatures ranging from 30 degrees to 50 degrees constantly. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Other environmental factors may apply.
