Plumbing Installer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Residential Plumber.  The successful candidate should be able to work efficiently, have great attention to detail, be organized, and be able to perform in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position, includes rotating on-calls.  This position has a base pay and is eligible for commissions on any upsells.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose water heaters, boilers, water lines, drains, and gas lines
• Consult with client, and provide good, better, best solutions.
• Demonstrate respect and compassion when communicating with clients about repairs or replacement.
• Ensure installations meet code and company quality standards
• Maintain jobsite safety, organization, and team productivity
• Use various plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, monometers, etc.)
• Document details on all calls including estimates and recommendations
• Complete all tasks per company quality and safety standards

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 2 years of residential plumbing installation experience
• Previous experience as residential plumber
• Experience with re-pipes, drain/sewer systems, water heaters, and residential plumbing installations
• Knowledge of boiler piping, circulator pumps, expansion tanks, and zone valves preferred
• Proficient with PEX, copper, PVC, ABS, and cast iron piping
• Knowledge of local plumbing and mechanical codes
• Journeyman license is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to work cohesively with team members, apprentices, and management
• Strong communication and professionalism with customers and team members

Work Environment: 

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.
